To ensure 100% strict compliance with Japanese laws and transport regulations, our service is completely different from a standard "chartered taxi (chauffeur service)." Please carefully review the following ironclad rules:

  1. You Are the Driver (Navigator Service Contract)
    • Under this service, you (the client) will take the wheel and drive the vehicle, which is rented directly from our partner government-certified, 1st-class automotive maintenance garage (Nishio Automobile Co., Ltd. / 有限会社西尾自動車).
    • Our professional navigator strictly sits in the passenger seat to provide expert assistance, including lecturing on Japanese traffic rules, optimal route navigation, parking guidance, on-site sightseeing support, and real-time itinerary consultations.
  2. The Navigator CANNOT Accompany Clients inside the Vehicle heavily during Shifts
    • While the navigator is moving or relocating the vehicle, no clients or family members can legally ride inside the vehicle under any circumstances (as this constitutes an illegal, unlicensed taxi operation prohibited by Japanese law). Your family will enjoy a peaceful walk or exploration through the area and reunite with the navigator at the designated parking lot.
  3. Strict No-Alcohol Policy after 10:00 PM & Mandatory Breathalyzer Check
    • To ensure 100% safe driving and avoid any legal risks, a mandatory alcohol breathalyzer check will be conducted for the designated driver (Mom/Dad) prior to the launch of the tour.
    • Therefore, the designated driver must strictly refrain from consuming any alcohol after 10:00 PM on the previous night.
    • In the event that any alcohol level is detected during the morning check, operation will become 100% legally impossible on the spot, and the booking will be treated as a same-day cancellation. To protect your family's absolute safety, strict compliance is mandatory.
    • ※To prevent any unforeseen issues, we highly recommend preparing [International Driving Permits for multiple family members] in advance so another member can drive if needed.

💰 【Pricing System & Stress-Free Gasoline Proxy Settlement】

The upfront booking fee ($550 USD) settled on this website strictly covers the professional navigator’s service fee, which already includes the partner garage's rental car fee (22,000 JPY/day). All other actual expenses incurred on-site must be settled by the client directly:

  • Expenses to be Paid Directly by the Client On-site:
    1. All on-site admission and entrance fees (Temples, shrines, and venues).
    2. All dining and beverage costs during the trip (Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks).
    3. Actual local expressway highway tolls used during the day.
    4. All private and public parking lot fees incurred during stops.
  • "Zero-Stress" Gasoline Proxy Settlement (50 JPY per 1 KM):
    • Unlike standard car rentals, you do not need to waste your precious vacation time searching for a gas station and struggling with Japanese fuel pumps at the end of your day.
    • Based on the exact distance driven during your tour, we will calculate the fuel expense at a flat rate of 50 JPY per 1 km, which will be settled collectively at the end of the day. We won't waste a single minute of your priceless travel time.

⏱️ Overtime Charge Policy:

  • Our standard premium Kyoto course is based on 8 Hours per day ($550 USD, vehicle rental included).
  • In the event that your journey exceeds the 8-hour limit due to on-the-spot adjustments or requests, an additional Overtime Fee of $50 USD per 1 Hour will apply separately.
